Our Mission & Vision

The mission of Lombard Assembly is to know and love God and neighbor. The vision of our church is to make true disciples throughout all the nations by means of missionary activity and support, to minister the ordinances, to edify believers, and to do all that is sovereignly possible and biblically permissible to magnify the name of Jesus.

Leadership Team:

Our leadership team recognizes the authority of God, and realizes that we are shepherds who serve under the Chief Shepherd, Jesus Christ. We desire to devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the Word. Our passion and goal is to equip the believers for the work of the ministry until we all attain maturity in the fullness of Christ. Find out more about some of our leaders below.

Lead Pastor – Sloan & Erin Parker

Pastor Sloan is passionate about providing people with a theological interpretation of Scripture and world. He has served at Lombard Assembly in various roles since 2014. He and Erin have been ministering together for more than fourteen years. They are passionate about God and people.
Pastors, Myanmar Congregation – Piang & Kop
Piang and Kop came from Myanmar (formerly known as Burma) to Chicago seven years ago to study at Chicago Theological Seminary. In October 2015 they began a church plant at Lombard Assembly in order to serve the Myanmar people of the Lombard area. It is their desire to bring hope and peace to their lost and often forgotten ethnic group through the gospel of Jesus.

Children’s Ministry, Lalaine Escueta

A native Chicagoan, Lalaine has a charismatic and infectious personality, and a gift for sharing God’s love with children. Her approach to teaching kids is practical and refreshing.
